Caching with the Conservancy 2010

Townsend Park -Murrysville, PA
Registration open at 7:30 am

You may still attend all other activities

Please be aware that many areas are wildlife habitat.
A bear has been spotted in the area in the last week.

A family-friendly geocaching event suitable for all ages, abilities and interests. This event will be based at Townsend Park in Murrysville, but participants may choose to seek temporary caches hidden throughout Murrysville. Registration will open at 7:30 am. Registrants will receive an event booklet with temp cache coordinates at that time. Temporary caches may be done at the participant's leisure.

Please RSVP with the number of attendees (so we have enough food) and what you are planning on bringing (not required, but gratefully accepted as this event relies on donations). Although you may attend any of the activities and hunt the temporary caches without a reservation, you MUST RSVP by May 19th in order to attend the picnic.

    Townsend park is handicapped accessible.
    Temporary caches will requires some hiking along well marked trails.
    Temporary geocache coordinates posted the night before the event.

Please be at the designated reserve at least 15 minutes before the start of the hike as all hikes will begin promptly.
