Don Harrison Community Trail

The Don Harrison Community Trail (DHCT) celebrates the vision of an influential president and dedicated board members who worked for more than 15 years to achieve that goal of connecting properties to create a green corridor across Murrysville. Its present incarnation has just over 5 miles in either direction from the Townsend Park Trailhead off the ball field parking lot to the Walter Reserve kiosk in the lot on Weistertown Road. It passes through Murrysville property at the Public Works site and the Municipal Building, Sloan School property, Potter’s Corner and the King Reserve, 3 private trail easements, the Caywood Reserve, Murrysville Community Park, and the Walter Reserve.
